Thursday: Paniyaram ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณwith chutney, green and yellow kiwi with buttermilk and a third infusion of Moriuchi Koucha ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Paniyaram are a South Indian snack/breakfast pancake made with fermented rice batter similar to idli or dosa and it's completely vegan. Wednesday: Kheer, no frills (sort of) a spiced rice porridge eaten across the Indian subcontinent, broken rice and vermicelli noodles, flavoured with cardamom. Tuesday: ใตใ‚ใ—ใ‚…ใ‚ใƒ‘ใƒณใ‚ฑใƒผใ‚ญ Fluffy Japanese Pancakes ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ตwith mango, blueberries, maple syrup, OJ and a cup of Moriuchi Koucha tea, a rare black tea from Japan famous for its malty umami flavour all served on gorgeous new plates from , just one of three sets I picked up from Stine and I can't wait to show the rest to you! ---------------------------------------- These pancakes are super simple, like any other recipe, the trick is to separate your eggs and whisk the whites to stiff peaks. It makes the batter super light and also doubles the amount of pancakes you can make! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Wednesday: Cinque e cinque (Five and five) a bread roll and cecina with olive oil and black pepper, essentially a chickpea pancake sandwich, typical of Livorno. The name cinque e cinque comes from that the bread and torta di ceci used to cost 5 lira each and was a quick and cheap snack ๐Ÿ’ถ๐Ÿ’ถ๐Ÿ’ถ And it's completely vegan too --------------------------------------- This is at the wonderful S.Forno bakery on via Santa Monoca. It's one of the last few bakeries in Florence that still makes all its produce on the premises as many now source in from outside the city.
