The moments of excitement and anticipation right before you hit the freezing glacial water. Nothing quite like it. • This photo is shot with a Canon 5d Mark III and 16-35mm f2.8 lens at Berg Lake in Mt. Robson Provincial Park, BC. #CanonCanada150

This year, I am hoping to take more opportunities to sleep under the stars, whether in a hammock or just on a sleeping pad. I’ve always been more comfortable sleeping in a tent, but I plan to go beyond what I’ve done before and try something new. Is there anything that will make your outdoor experiences more exciting, more meaningful, or more memorable this year? I would love to hear about it. #WoodsExplorer @WoodsCanada @hashtagpaid

Heading out of service for a few days on an adventure with my mom. Every year we pick a new trek to experience together. I used to take the time we spent together for granted, but more and more I realize how important this time is. Make each moment with your loved ones count. Can't wait to show you where we're headed.

What gets you motivated in the morning? A good sunrise, a cup of coffee, or canoeing through the morning mist? Whatever it is, I hope it inspires a sense of adventure and leads to incredible moments and special memories – whether it’s in Canada’s backyard or beyond. Wherever you are located, I encourage you to challenge yourself, try a new activity, take a risk, and realize your own potential. Explore further this summer! Ever since I visited Lake O'hara for the first time last year, I knew I had to go back. Probably one of the toughest places to book, especially this year being Canada's 150th birthday, but I got a spot again and can't wait to explore this place in the fall. Happy Birthday Canada you beauty. Would love to know if you are heading here this summer.
