"Swimming through the pristine clear blue waters of , the ocean wildlife never ceases to amaze me. This is a green , or as they call it in Guam's native Chamoru language "Haggan." I swam alongside him for nearly two hours. The depth of the water allowed for the background of this photo to remain blue while the shallow swimming remained illuminated by the sun, bringing out all of his beautiful colors. Needless to say, this is currently my favorite turtle picture. Note the camera is not waterproof and is in a protective water housing." "A group of friends and I could not find a place to stay on our trip down the coast as the last rays of sunlight disappeared. We pitched our in between a few trees and spent the night sleeping in them. It wasn't the most comfortable bed, but we got unparalleled views as we woke up at the first rays of light. When we got up, we peered down at the sheer height of the cliffs we slept on." "I had just bought the Canon EOS Rebel T6i, my first DSLR, and I wanted a nice shot from this local park by the bay... The sky was not as dramatic as I wanted, and I was running late, so I decided to pack up and leave... On the way out, I looked down this boardwalk and saw the clouds starting to open up a bit. I set up my tripod and almost got run over by a few cyclists, but in the end, the results were worth it!" "I was putting together a beauty photoshoot with my team, and came up with the idea from some images we saw. We decided to use the large butterflies as a mask and use some yellow makeup powder on the lips to simulate pollen. This was the end result." "A few days prior, my dad and I caught word that the first grizzly had been spotted just east of the Lamar Valley in National Park. You didn't have to tell us more before we said let's go. It was a dreary day with thick cloud cover as the forecast called for a slight mix of snow and rain. As much as I thought the cool weather would keep the active; they weren't. After many uneventful hours and an afternoon nap, lo and behold these two sparring . We photographed them until we were content to just watch. After feeling satisfied and deciding to head out, we suddenly stopped...there he was. The first grizzly of the year. But that's a story for another time." "We visited HallgrĆmskirkja on our last day in . The church is stunningly beautiful and symmetrical. To us it resembles much of the landscape of Iceland in its stark beauty. We shot from every angle and decided that this one from the side of the church created a nice leading line for the eye."
