People are often surprised when I tell them of my love of yoga. At 6'5 and a former football player I guess I don't fit your typical yogi stereotypes. But yoga helped me make it through 12 years of football and continues to help me through life. What began as a journey to help my body turned into a journey to better my mind. I wish I had the chance to practice more, but life on the road has made it more difficult. Now, it's a spiritual journey for me as meditation helps me to drown out the chaos in the world to focus on the life in front of me. I'm grateful for all yoga has done and continues to do for me. Happy international yoga day!

One year ago today, at this very moment I purchased my van, Nemo. I handed over almost every penny I had saved up in exchange for my new home. The past year I've lived without an address and let the wind dictate my direction in life. I've watched more sunsets and sunrises than I could count, and spent these moments with some of the most passionate, kind, and caring people I could ever ask for. I've learned that there is no such thing as a perfect life, but that beauty lies in the imperfections. Hard lessons that beauty comes with pain, but within all pain also lies beauty were learned. Home is a feeling, not a place, and for the past year I've felt more at home than any other time in my life. I have no five year plan, hell I don't even have a five day plan, but I don't plan on ending this lifestyle in the immediate future. Thanks for supporting me on this crazy journey. #Vanniversary

"On bended knee is no way to be free Lifting up an empty cup I ask silently That all my destinations will accept the one that's me." -Eddie Vedder Wrapped up an amazing week chasing life on assignment with @visitwyoming and the crazy talented @hazerlv. A trip five years in the making finally came to fruition on a spontaneous trip and I can't wait to show you what we have cooked up. #thatswy #CalloftheWY

Last night standing under a sea of stars and looking up at Devils Tower. I had this view all to myself as I scrambled over some boulders to get a better angle. It really made me think about the generations that came before me and the generations that came after me, and why protecting these places are so important. Also, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. May you instill a sense of wonder and curiosity to explore this Earth in your children as my dad did for me. @visitwyoming #CalloftheWY #thatswy

After my whole life of living in Montana I had never had the opportunity to photograph a badger (or even see one until last week). So you can imagine my stoke yesterday when I got to hang out with a family of three badgers on top of the Bighorn Mountains in #Wyoming . #ThatsWY #CalloftheWY @visitwyoming

When I visit a place, a piece of me will always remain. Waiting, patiently, for the day I come back. But for every piece I lose, I take a piece of these places with me. They mold me, shape who I am, and go everywhere with me. It's the cultures, the places, and the people I meet who are responsible for the man I've become. Travel changes you.
