I like to say that there is a freedom in movement. Or rather, movement can set you free. With any kind of creative language, it takes lots of communication and a willingness to not hold to tightly to the outcome. A major part of the process is allowing the creation to take form and pass through you.- - My teachers used to tell me to stop painting from the wrist. I thought they were crazy, I could hold the paintbrush better and make more defined stokes. After time, I realized what they meant. Not all marks were meant to be on the canvas or maybe I didn't need as many to tell my story. And then I realized, that story wasn't mine to begin with, I was just the portal on how it was told. - - Outfit - - culture

I had an absolute killer of a session at with earlier but it's got me feeling so energised to teach at the & event this evening 💃🏽 Sometimes you have to push your body to its limit, and sometimes you have to pose effortlessly for a photo when you'd much rather be lying face down in the ring 😂

What's my purpose? ✨ Well, I woke up this morning so that means I have purpose. To breathe, to watch, to learn, to make a little bit more magic. Every day is a gift. Have we fallen asleep? Awaken! This day is brimming with abundance. The very fact that I am alive is reason enough to celebrate, this day and everyday. Happiness and joy do not arise organically, I believe they are practiced into manifestation. If I desire more happiness in my life I must practice happiness. Same with joy, same with gratitude, same with patience, same with self love. Practice, practice, practice. Reaffirming that these are the qualities I want to grow in my life. 🌿 Perhaps it starts with a dance, with a good cry, with slowing down, with jumping up hands outstretched, with trying a new food, with watching a bug without distraction for 5 minutes. It starts where you are, the cultivation occurs in your own garden. No one else tends your garden. It's time to sink hands into earth, its time to prepare the growing grounds, something new is preparing to blossom up in you. You are not a dry well, from you vitality will bubble up and overflow this land. Through you, a Great work will be accomplished. Trust you are a sacred part of the Great plan. 🌿✨😊
